Das Wesen von x offers an overview of the extensive and diverse video works from three decades by Asta Gröting, presenting nine videos in total, four of which will premiere at the opening.

In her work, Asta Gröting explores themes such as the relationship between humans, animals and nature, through physical and psychological forms. Her work often centres on the question of what is the essence of what we see and perceive.

There will be a publication on the occasion of the exhibition, published by Spector Books.
