Inspired by Nicole Miller’s exhibition, To the Stars, the exhibition brings together works of artists revolving around the idea of the elliptical. The figure of the ellipse in literature from the Greek ‘ellipsis’, refers both to a presence and an absence in our visual imagination to a trajectory, a movement  – the celestial bodies orbiting a star or another planet. As if expanding on the experience of the laser and the choreographically moves in the adjacent space, the works seem to react emotionally and formally to the installation, entering in dialogue with this possibility of hope and transformation.
