The exhibition proposed is a classic retrospective, in the sense that it highlights the strong points and moments of the extensive production of Luis Gordillo to establish a route that addresses most of his creative stages, as well as the different media he has used. Likewise, in his first presentation in Seville, a chronological development is followed grouped by specific rooms that take into account the following stops: his automatic drawings in relation to informalism; his heads related to British pop together with tricuatropatas, pedestrians and motorists; drawing as the backbone of his production in the 70s together with his experiences with the photographic image and seriality during most of that decade; the 80s mainly indicated in the meanders series; the 90s grouped around one of his most important paintings Snow White and the Ferocious Pollock ; the 2000s with new experiments in media and techniques, introducing digital, to end the tour with a new series of heads made in 2015. At the same time, a space is dedicated to trying to show how he constructs his works from a reconstruction or simulation of his studio.
